The Home Office will process your visa application under their standard visa process time
UK ENTRY VISA APPLICATIONS
Non-Settlement Applications
- 90% processed within 3 weeks of the application date
- 98% processed within 6 weeks of the application date
- 100% processed within 12 weeks of the application date
Settlement Applications:
- 95% processed within 12 weeks of the application date
- 100% processed within 24 weeks of the application date
Note: 1 week is 5 working days.

Over the past year, Home Office in many cases has failed to process settlement applications within their agreed published times.
UK VISA APPLICATIONS
Applying for UK temporary permission to stay. Clients applying to remain on a temporary basis including:
- Tier 1 Entrepreneurs, Tier 1 General, Innovators, Start-Ups
- Tier 2 & Tier 5 workers
- Spouses & Partners
- Students
Applications usually processed in 8 weeks to get an application decision.
Clients applying from the below list:
- Turkey applying under the European Community Association Agreement
- Right of Abode
- Non-EEA national family members applying under the European regulations for a residence card or permanent residence card
- Indefinite leave to remain (ILR)
- No Time Limit (NTL)
Applications usually processed in 6 months to get an application decision.

Whether you are applying to 'Enter' or 'Remain' in the UK, you can upgrade your application and get a visa decision within 5 working days.
Leave to Remain (PBS Dependant of a Tier 2 MoR) visa refusal dated 21/08/2017 under your reference 22022167. Refusal based on Appendix A where 50 points were required, 0 given as CoS C2R5M35941L was cancelled by UKVI as her husband UK sponsor SL was revoked.
If you are applying under family route, you need to select option 'Priority Settlement'.
LEAVE TO ENTER
You can only apply under priority visa if you are applying for an entry visa under one of these visa types:
- Student visa
- Work visa
- Visit visa
The standard processing times when applying under these routes is 3 weeks but under priority the processing time is reduced to 5 working days from the biometrics appointment.
Note: 90% of application are processed in this time but if any of these apply to you, you should consult G4I first before applying under priority:
- been refused a visa for the UK, and/or;
- been refused leave to enter the UK, and/or;
- been deported, removed, or otherwise required to leave the UK, and/or;
- overstayed a period of leave in the UK, and/or;
- had leave to remain in the UK curtailed by the Home Office, and/or;
- been refused leave to remain in the UK by the Home Office, and/or;
- been refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States of America, or the Schengen countries, and/or;
- you have been interviewed, detained, or prosecuted by the Police for any offence in the UK or elsewhere, and/or;
- you have an unspent criminal conviction in any country, and/or;
- you have committed a criminal offence in any country.
LEAVE TO REMAIN
You can only apply under priority visa if you are applying to remain in trhe UK under one of these visa types:
- Tier 1 Investor
- Tier 2 General
- Tier 2 Intra-company Transfer
- Tier 2 Minister of Religion
- Tier 2 Sportsperson
- Tier 4 General Student
- Tier 4 Child Student
- SET (O) settlement (Tier 1 Investor)
- SET (O) settlement (Tier 2 Intra-company Transfer)
- SET (O) settlement (Tier 2 Minister of Religion)
- SET (O) settlement (Tier 2 Sportsperson)
Applications should be processed, and a decision made in 10 working days from the biometrics appointment.
Priority Settlement is only available if applying for an entry visa
UK ENTRY
You can only apply under this priority visa if you are applying for:
- Apply as a partner or spouse
- Apply as a parent
- Apply as a child
- Apply as an adult coming to be cared for by a relative.
The standard processing times when applying under these routes is 12 weeks but under priority the processing time is reduced to 6 weeks from the biometrics appointment. It can take up to 24 weeks for more complex cases.
Note: 90% of application are processed in this time but if any of these apply to you, you should consult G4I first before applying under priority:
- been refused a visa for the UK, and/or;
- been refused leave to enter the UK, and/or;
- been deported, removed, or otherwise required to leave the UK, and/or;
- overstayed a period of leave in the UK, and/or;
- had leave to remain in the UK curtailed by the Home Office, and/or;
- been refused leave to remain in the UK by the Home Office, and/or;
- been refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States of America, or the Schengen countries, and/or;
- you have been interviewed, detained, or prosecuted by the Police for any offence in the UK or elsewhere, and/or;
- you have an unspent criminal conviction in any country, and/or;
- you have committed a criminal offence in any country.
Whether you are applying to 'Enter' or 'Remain' in the UK, you can upgrade your application and get a visa decision within 24 hours.
UK ENTRY
You can only apply under super priority visa if you are applying for:
- All visitor visa customers (excluding those from Commonwealth countries, overseas domestic workers and customers from British Overseas Territories)
- Points Based System Tier 2 customers
- Points Based System Tier 5 customers or Temporary Workers (Creative and Sporting), if currently in the country of application for a similar purpose to the activity proposed to be undertaken in the UK
- Points Based System Tier 4 customers, Tier 4 (Child) and Tier 4 (Dependants)
The standard processing times when applying under these routes is 3 weeks and priority processing time is 5 working days but super priority is 24 hours and 48 hours if appointment is ion a Friday or the following day is a Bank Holiday from the biometrics appointment.
If you are applying for any other visa type or for a visa to visit a Commonwealth country, a British Overseas Territory or a Crown Dependency (the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), you should not use the Super Priority Visa service.
