IMMIGRATION SKILLS CHARGE (ISC)
The Home Office introduced the Immigration Skills Charge (ISC) on the 6 April 2017
This fee is charged to a UK sponsor who intends to employ a
Tier 2 General or
Tier 2 Intra-company Transfer worker
The fee is broken down into 3 sub-categories which we have listed below and soon you will be able to see essential information
ISC FEES
£364 for Small and £1000 for Large business per year that a worker is sponsored
If work visa is greater than 6 months year one is paid in full and then Home Office calculates based on 6 month tranches
This means if the work visa is for 21 months, you pay for two years ISC, but if the work is for 15 months, you pay 1 year at £364 or £1000 plus 50% of this fee
THE TOTAL ISC FEE IS PAID WHEN THE UK SPONSOR ASSIGNS THE WORKER'S CERTIFICATE OF SPONSORSHIP (CoS)
ISC is exempt if sponsoring a Tier 4 Student, Tier 2 IcT Graduate Trainee, a job on a PhD SOC code and CoS work dates assigned less than 6 months
