TIER 5 INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT

This visa type is for temporary workers that fall under the International Agreement visa scheme

THIS TIER WAS FIRST INTRODUCED TO THE UK IN NOVEMBER 2008

Tier 5 is governed by a UK sponsor, an organisation that is wiling to assign a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) to the worker that is required to work covered by
 international law while in the UK such as foreign government or as a private servant in a diplomatic household.

Unless your work falls under a General Agreement on Trade Services, agreement between UK and another country, overseas government or international 
organisation or, private servant in a diplomatic household or household of an employee of an international organisation, you cannot be assigned a CoS.
