This latest Home Office news covers Appendix EU family permits where the family member is a non-EEA citizen living in the UK or join a family member. Under this update it covers:
WHAT DOES OUR EXPERT THINK OF THIS HOME OFFICE UPDATE?
If you are a non-EU national and your family member is a EEA national, then this could apply to you. These rules cover area such as spouse, civil partner and durable partner. They also cover document evidence, immigration issues such as deportation, exclusion orders, children adopted, children aged 21 whereas other immigration rules children are deemed under 18.
If you an unmarried partner you used to be classed as an extended family member but now you are classed as an 'Durable Partner'. You must hold either a family permit or residence card.
