You have two ways of applying for your British passport.
You can pop into your local Post Office and pick up the application form,

Passport Check and Send service or, apply online which is much more convenient.

Like most application forms, some questions might seem alien to you or you're not sure which box to tick or know how to answer a certain type of question or, will they expect me to attend a face-to-face interview if the British passport is my first one.
Processing times
You should receive a decision within 3 weeks of passport office receiving your application if renewing, but if it's your first one, allow 6 weeks.
If you cannot wait 6 weeks, you can book an

Passport Photo

Passport Fees
Passport office offers different costs for passports, you have:
- Adult 34 pages
- Adult 50 pages
- Children aged 0-15
- People born before 2 September 1929 (no charge).
